Carriage Court of Washington Court House is Community-Based Assisted Living at its finest, offering assistance as needed to suit individual lifestyles and personal requirements. Residents live in the comfort and security of a small, friendly, family-like setting with all the privacy they want, yet they may choose to join in a variety of group activities whenever they like. Personal care and assistance with medication are also available as needed.

Located in a quiet setting, approximately 45 minutes south of Ohio’s capital city of Columbus, Carriage Court of Washington Court House is a quaint, 36-unit community within a mile of Fayette County Memorial Hospital. With a population of about 22,000, Washington Court House has two Senior Centers and, within a half-mile of Carriage Court, residents can find both restaurants and shopping, too.

As with all Carriage Court communities, our Washington Court House location offers companionship, 24-hour staffing, well-balanced home-cooked meals, an active environment and even a place where residents can entertain friends and family — including children. Residents also have the option of inviting their visitors to join them for lunch or dinner.

Carriage Court residents are free to enjoy their lives, participate in exercise classes, bingo games, card parties, family cookouts, birthday dinners and entertainment, while our cheerful staff handles everything else —cooking, cleaning, laundry, lawn care, snow removal, maintenance and more.

Carriage Court offers both single and double occupancy suites, complete with private baths. Tastefully decorated common areas such as the country kitchens, parlor, TV room, activity room, dining room, library, patio, courtyard and landscaped grounds are open for the unlimited enjoyment of all residents. A private dining room is available for special occasions.

There are no endowments or annual leases at Carriage Court. Residents may stay on a month-to-month basis for as long they like and all basic living requirements are covered by an affordable monthly fee. Base level fees include choice of accommodations, three home-cooked meals per day, weekly housekeeping, linen service, and a variety of other features.

Assisted Living
In addition, Carriage Court also offers graduated levels of service based on the need for assistance with the activities of daily living. Fees for these additional services vary according to the amount of help residents require with medication, memory impairment, continence management, mobility and dining.

Customized Service That’s Just Right
Carriage Court recognizes each resident is an individual with unique needs and preferences. That’s why our staff meets with residents and their families prior to move-in and at regular intervals afterward to gain a complete understanding of their needs for assistance and support. Help over and above that covered by the basic fee is available in the following areas:

Alzheimer’s/Dementia Special Care Units
Carriage Court of Washington Court House also offers special facilities for the care of seniors who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias and memory loss. This “Special Care Plus” program is available to residents for a small additional daily fee.
