Good Neighbor Care of Douglasville hosted their first Annual Easter Egg Hunt for the public. Over 72 children and parents arrived, ready to search for eggs hidden in the court yard. Activities Coordinator, Wanda Cofield , planned many games and entertainment to capture the hearts of the youth. This special event was also a thrilling and reminiscing time for the many residents who watched. Door prizes and rewards were called out by Barbara Gandy, Executive Director.

This event is the beginning of something new for the community to share in annually and will give Douglasville something to look forward to every year. Next year the event will be even bigger! Many of the visitors were impressed with the building and décor. Most of the visitors came from an invitation broadcasted on a free television network. After the Easter Egg Hunt everyone enjoyed refreshments. Best of all, this event was a great way of exposing Good Neighbor Care to the Douglasville Community.
